The tool we wished existed.
SecurityAlert.ai is the second product from CIA Development, the team behind ServiceAlert.ai. Same operators. Same belief that mid-market security teams deserve the same coverage as enterprise without the enterprise contract.
Why a sister product, not one bigger one?
ServiceAlert is uptime monitoring and third-party SaaS status aggregation. SecurityAlert is brand protection, threat intelligence, and exposure scanning. Different buyers, different release cadences, different problem domains.
We tried bundling both into one product for a while. The dashboard turned into a mess: SREs wanted to ignore the brand monitor stuff, security teams wanted to ignore the SLA stuff. Splitting the products into separate domains, separate dashboards, and separate URLs let each one focus.
We're not trying to outspend Bolster, Doppel, or Recorded Future. We're trying to outprice them by 30x and out-clarity them by simply not having a sales motion.
What we believe
- Flat pricing, no per-finding charges. The competitive set bills per-takedown, per-finding, per-domain, per-seat. We bill flat. Predictable budgets win procurement.
- Free tier that's actually useful. 1 brand monitor, full threat intel browsing, all free tools. No credit card, no trial timer. If we can't earn the upgrade, we don't deserve it.
- One login. No sales call. If you have to talk to a human to start using us, we've already failed.
- Build on free intel data, layer judgment on top. CISA KEV, MITRE ATT&CK, ransomware.live, EPSS, NVD, Hudson Rock are all free. The product is the curation, the alerting, and the dashboards.
- Two products, one team. ServiceAlert and SecurityAlert share infrastructure but not strategy. Sister, not subsidiary.
Who builds this
Joey and the small CIA Development team. We also operate ScoreCraft.ai and PermitMint. Reach out anytime if you want to chat about the product, find a bug, or recommend a competitor we should compare ourselves against.
